Trim your wicks prior to burning and again after burning. Wait for wax to cool before trimming. Trim the wick to ¼”-1/2”. Trimming creates a cleaner and brighter burn. Trimming also helps to eliminate soot and excess smoke, plus excess wick debris (mushrooms) collects at the top of the wick. Lastly long wicks create unwanted high flames.
